Mixing a track
A little note.
By default, Drambo has 2 auxes: A & B.
I'll show you a little later how to create others (note that with the way I work, 2 aux are enough).
You can also create groups but again I don't really need them since I work on my tracks as a group. So if I want for example to add an effect to my drums, I just have to add it behind my Layers Mixer Rack. But I'll also show you a bit later how to create a group.
The longest pattern will determine the length of a part.
Automation / Muting a track
If you are using an App like Scaler 2 or an AUv3 MIDI sequencer synchronized to the host and you want to Mute it, you can use one of these techniques. (1 will not work for hosted Apps)
1
This way is the same as you do with a MIDI sequencer
Swipe up to open the pop up
Drag a pattern to duplicate it
2
Volume Automation.
If you don't want to lose your track volume setting add a module:Amp
(video way 2)
3
Muting Step (s)
You can also use this technique with the module: Switch N-1
1 is connected.
2 isn't. So no signal will pass through
Double tap a step to remove the P locked only
Bouncing your tracks.
Creating subgroup with bounced tracks.
For several reasons you may need to bounce your tracks.
To create a group, (in this video for synthesizers), to save CPU....
You don't have to worry about the length of your recording (if it is longer than your pattern) because it will only play the length of the pattern you are going to recreate.
Then you will be able to automate each Layers as show above.
Add a Pan, Effects too.
Before to delete the bounced tracks, save them...
Note that you can also use the Export feature located in the main menu (if you don't need separate tracks) or record the Master using the same technique shown in this video.
